Using Ethos, Pathos, and Logos, to the best of your abilities, this week's assignment is to compose a speech which is a big huge lie. Really sell me on it. Go for broke. The bigger the better. You may work with a partner for brainstorming. You'll deliver these Thursday.

All right. Since so many of you had Monday-itis, we're doing the same game. Again. Three truths and a lie. Think up three true facts about yourself, the more farfetched the better, and one lie that seems plausible. We'll try to guess it. I'm not playing today, because clearly I know you too well. Those of you who were here yesterday, thank you...you still have to do it again. Go.

[She crosses her arms and leans against her desk, glaring at the class.]

Huh, yeah, I guess we don't have those. ::thinks:: Sound like...like really advanced DRDs, atleast with the cleaning and minor things. Can't imagine 'em fighting a war though. ::debates pointing out that being forced to fight wars sounds like a perfectly good excuse for rebelling, then decides she doesn't feel like picking a fight when the teach is in a bad mood:: So...treaties actually work in your part of the universe? Good to know.

::laughs:: Yeah, I kinda figured that was the one. Too normal in comparison to the rest, ya know?

D'anna's smile grows from sheepish to friendly, "...I hadn't thought of it like that. Clever."

Hm... no idea huh? ::laughs:: Well, hopefully your luck with that sorta thing's better than...better than ours was.

::grins:: Yeah, well when lying's one of the best things you do, ya kinda get used to figuring it out in others, ya know? ::shrugs:: But hey, that's the idea, right? Pick somethin' that sounds reasonable? Kinda like, uh, what's so strange about an alien with black blood, right?
