She sits in her office, doodling with a smile on her face. She has her iPod on, earbuds in, and she's jamming out. Bouncing, dancing a bit, lip syncing, and at times singing along.

[Ten leans in her doorway, a takeaway latte in hand, smiling. He clears his throat, loudly. When she doesn't notice, he rolls his eyes and does it again, louder. When THAT doesn't work, he starts to laugh. Quietly, he sets the latte down on her desk, where she'll see it when she looks up, and tiptoes out of the room.]

[Catching movement out of the corner of her eye, she jumps back in her chair. Seeing Ten...and the coffee, she smiles and pulls the buds out of her ears.]

[He pauses in the doorway and turns back, smiling.] Aye, I did. Took me most of the day to kick the hangover, though.

[gesturing towards the coffee] Thought I'd drop you something, seeing as I didn't see much of you yesterday.

Thank you. [She stands and walks to him, kissing him lightly] I had a great day. I don't think I drank quite as much as everyone else. Plus I stuck to whiskey...you know what they say about beer before liquor. [She smiles.]

You'll never guess what I did yesterday, after Mass.

Oh, god, don't remind me. By the way, I think we need to talk. Not you and me, that's sorted. [He kisses her forehead.] But you and I and... [He makes the vaguest gesture known to humanity.] For clarity's sake.

[He smiles at her, that sappy besotted Hopelessly In Love smile.] And what did you do after Mass?

Beka knocked on the door to CJ's office. "CJ? It's Beka."

Beka. [She smiles] Come in! So...Belthazor? Cranky? Or did I wear the wrong shoes?

Beka smiled, but it almost certainly didn't reach her eyes. "Hey," she said, stepping into the office and closing the door behind her. She scrubbed a hand through her bangs. "Yeah. About that. I'm sorry I didn't stop to see if you were all right."

No problem...I'm tough. He really didn't do anything, other than call me a bitch and shove me down. You know...I should press charges. But I'm willing to listen, you now that. You know what was going on with him?

Marty walks into CJ's office and watches her sing and dance to her iPod a while with an amused expression on his face.

He taps her on the shoulder to get her attention.

[She jumps at the touch. She really needs to learn to keep the volume lower so that will quit happening. Looking up at Marty, she smiles wide and stands, wrapping him in a hug.]

Marty! Where have you been? I haven't seen you anywhere...

Marty, slightly surprised by the hug, returned the embrace awkwardly.

"Yeah... well it's been a rough couple of weeks with... you know. With what happened to Kitty and... I've just been trying to deal."

Yeah, but your license says you live in DC. Someday you're gonna get drunk like that again and someone's gonna try to ship you back there.

Guess you survived your hangover. or you're still drunk, kinda hard to tell today.

Parker turns bright red. "I'm fine. I think I must have looked at the wrong schedule. I've been adding and dropping a few classes, and I just got confused. Sorry to bother you."

Geoff knocks at the door and then leans in the doorframe, watching CJ and waiting to see if she notices him.

[She dances her chair a little, singing along. She's writing up a list. WHen the song changes, she looks up and sees him. Smiling broadly--]

He steps inside the door, grinning mishievously and holding one arm out wide. A couple of books are tucked under the other. "I was wondering if you might notice something...missing here."
