Detention

((A notice was sent to all students receiving detention today to wear light summer clothing and sturdy hiking shoes.))

Detention Roster:

[livejournal.com profile] death_n_binky

As the students enter the Danger Room Shop they see that it has been transformed into a ranch like area somewhere near the rugged moutain wilderness in the Sangre de Cristo range of the Rockies. The temperature is quite warm and it appears to be summer.

For each student there is a 30 pound backpack sitting on the ground as well as several canteens of water waiting for them.

Mac looks up from his pack and gives the kids a grin.

"Welcome to detention kids. Today we're going to be taking a little nature walk, with some stops along the way to find out a little bit more about ourselves. Everyone is required to particpate in all excercises. If you do not participate... Well then you'll be getting two more detentions."

Mac points to a rock formation that juts out from one of the mountain ranges. "Our trip today will take us to the top of that landmark today. I hope you all are ready for a little excercise."

((Since Saturday is always a crazy day for people a simple *Participated* is acceptable.

If you wish to do more in the activities, you are welcome to do so.

You are, however not allowed to post anywhere else in FH today until detention is over (approximately 5:00PM Fandom Standard Time). ))

6 looks around. He can't see who's talking but he's got a vague sense of him. Mostly from the feeling of uneasiness, dread, and bad fashion. "You too, eh? Let's make a go of it, then. We'll show these cretins what we stand for!"

"I'll trust yours over his. He may have soaked his in photoreactive acid." 6 takes duct tape blindfold and wraps it around his head. "Let's go."

*DEATH takes Six's hand, bony fingers wrapping around the mortal boy's.* He begins to take Six through the various steps of the exerices.

When beginning to jog, which is quite fast paced given DEATH's dimensions, the two of them crest a hill. However, rather than continuing downhill, they both begin to run straight, picking up the pace. Six is left with the impression that the ground beneath him is not as solid as it used to be.

After completing the last step of the exercise, DEATH stops and, suddenly, the ground feels quite solid again.*

"Your turn," 6 says, a bit shaken.

*DEATH removes the duct tape blind fold and places it back in his robes, opting instead for a purple one with lacey tassels. He is still not sure the purpose of the blindfold, given his lack of appropriate anatomy, but he is willing to play along, as is proper. He takes Six's hand again.*
