As the students enter the Danger ~~Room~~ Shop they see that it has been transformed into a ranch like area somewhere near the rugged moutain wilderness in the Sangre de Cristo range of the Rockies. The temperature is quite warm and it appears to be summer.

For each student there is a 30 pound backpack sitting on the ground as well as several canteens of water waiting for them.

Mac looks up from his pack and gives the kids a grin.

"Welcome to detention kids. Today we're going to be taking a little nature walk, with some stops along the way to find out a little bit more about ourselves. Everyone is required to particpate in all excercises. If you do not participate... Well then you'll be getting two more detentions."

Mac points to a rock formation that juts out from one of the mountain ranges. "Our trip today will take us to the top of that landmark today. I hope you all are ready for a little excercise."

((Since Saturday is always a crazy day for people a simple *Participated* is acceptable.

If you wish to do more in the activities, you are welcome to do so.

You are, however not allowed to post anywhere else in FH today until detention is over (approximately 5:00PM Fandom Standard Time). ))

When the group gets to the top of the peak, it's getting dark out and everyone is tired and beat from the long climb. Except Mac. The little bugger must feed off this kind of thing.

Mac builds a campfire for everyone to sit around as the night air grow cooler and somehow fashions a guitar using natural elements around him, his swiss army knife and a large roll of duct tape.

"Now is the time for the musical portion of the program. *Everyone* is required to sing. No excuses. You don't sing? You'll be here next week. Understood?"

6 gives a very staid performance, something that will spill into almost every other song.

*DEATH, realizing that this is the trademark protest song, takes the hands of the two people sitting next to him, irregardless of whether they can see him or not. He sings, off tune, in such a way that is sounds more like a funeral dirge than anything else.

The rubber duck quacks mournfully from under the protest buttons.*

6 sings, staidly, wonder if Michael's running from or being drawn to. He hopes the former, but knowing the sheep-like nature of man, presumes the latter.

*DEATH, while singing a dirge-like rendition of the song, wonders if Micheal was ever a political prisoner.*

If 6 had ever met Mr. Spock, he would have found they had something in common. Neither of them understand this song and both of them sing it terribly.

*DEATH, getting into the swing of things, holds up his sign demanding his own release, figuring that any song sung while imprisoned must be a song of hope and freedom.

Those in the vicinity begin to develop goosebumps, feeling as though, when DEATH sings, real music has vanished.*

After the song is over, Mac approaches Death.

"Death, I'm sorry but I can't reverse another teacher's detention. ~~Even though you are fun to have here.~~ I do suggest you take matters up with Dean Bristow, and see if he can intervene."

"Oh, I'm not complaining about your protest. Every student has a right to free speech and self expression."

*DEATH does impersonations of the animals as he sings, still holding his sign. He is being very radical. Those in the vicinity are left with the impression that, perhaps, none of the animals ever really left Old McDonald's farm. At least not in the traditional sense.*

For some reason beyond his own comprehension, 6 really kicks it up a notch for this song, swaying along and nodding his head to that wacky muffin beat.
