Philosophy classroom: Ethics class #4, Friday, 8-10am

[ooc: My deepest apologies for posting this so late.]

Tara smiles worriedly as the students come in, checking face after face.

"Today's topic is power and responsibility, and I would like to remind you all that your grade comes from your discussion, not your presence. If you don't feel comfortable talking, write something down and hand it in to me. Being a silent warm body in the classroom is no different than not turning up."

[ooc: And I would remind you that I leave posts open for the whole week. If you post 'shows up and takes a seat' I know you're still alive, but you need to actually address the discussion topics to pass the class.]

Cole wrapped his arms tightly around Phoebe. "I don't think this is the way the assignment was supposed to go, sweetheart. We just somehow...turned it more personal."

Phoebe laid her head on his chest and held him to her. "It bites, Cole..."

Cole sat down in a corner of the room, drawing Phoebe down with him, still holding her close. "We put effort into it. I'm sure Tara won't mind if we want to stop. She's cool that way." He touched his hand to her cheek. "You gonna be okay?"

"I don't think she'd mind if we stopped the assignment, now. She's very attuned." She leaned against his hand. "I don't know if I'm ready to go back out there yet."

"Then we'll just stay right here for awhile," Cole said, playing with her hair. He grinned at her. "The walls are soundproof, you know," he said, trying to lighten her mood.

Phoebe did smile at that. "Somehow, I don't think that's what she had in mind with the creation of this."

"What she doesn't know won't hurt her," Cole said, still grinning. "Does the door lock?"

~~And Tara could make a porn video.~~

Phoebe started grinning back. "We can't lie to her." ~~Does not look for a lock.~~

~~We could split the profits three ways.~~

Cole gave her a gentle kiss. "What she doesn't know about she can't ask about," he teased.

~~Think of the presidential scandal!~~

Phoebe kissed him back and then laughed. "You're good at this."

"Want me to show you just how good?"

~~Think you'd get detention for that? It's not specifically against the rules, is it?~~

Phoebe grinned. "We'd get expelled."

~~It says nowhere in the Student Council charter that I can get detention for starring in a porn video.~~

"But what a way to go," Cole said, nipping at her neck.

~~We can sell it with the Angelus/Beka video from study hall yesterday, which technically hasn't happened yet since it's still Friday here in the Emo Closet.~~
