Study Hall -- Thursday, November 3rd

Having no idea how to help other people deal with grief (her usual method of dealing with it is either to scream about how everybody else is going to die from nuclear holocaust or to shoot something), Sarah has left every possibly comfortingly cliche thing she can think of on her desk -- teddy bears, tissues, chocolate, etc. Also, in addition to the puppies, now there's a basketful of kittens for cuddling.

Meanwhile, Sarah has fallen asleep in her chair. Let it never be said that Sarah can't find a way to avoid having teenagers that aren't hers cry on her shoulders.

Snuggling the kitten against his chest, he talked to it like he was talking to a baby, "Aw, Look at'choo, Soooo cute." he preens as he pets it softly. Oh, Sawyer loved kitties!

"You're gonna make me jealous!" she tells him looking down at her kitten stroking the side of it's head as it purred loudly.

"So you like cats then huh?"

"Yeah, I do. Why?" he looks startled, would she buy him a stuffed kitten now so that he could add it to his stuffed bunny.

"Oh erm no reason, I just wondered really," she says casually "you didn't say anything when I mentioned wanting a cat the other day that's all."

A long pause, "Well, I like 'em." he snuggles his kitty closer, hearing it purr in his ear, "If you want one, I ain't gonna stop ya." he smiles broadly before holding his kitten in the air.

She thinks for a moment, this whole going slow thing was clearly not happening "I was thinking maybe we..." she trails off looking back down to at the ginger kitten

"We what?" he asks of her trailed off sentence, putting down the kitten back into the box with it's siblings. His hand strokes her ginger kittens head lightly, a small smile on his face.

She looks up at him biting her lip again "I thought maybe we could like share one." she looks back to the cat "but that's a really stupid idea right?"

A small blush came to his face, "I think that's a wonderful idea." he says quietly, patting the kitten on the head, "What will we name it?

Paige smiles putting her hand over his, as he strokes the cat "erm I dunno. I guess it's something we could discuss later. I'm glad you like the idea"

"Sure, later sounds good." he leans over and kisses her lightly, "Oooh, we have our own cat now!" he says like a giddy young boy.

OMG PDA! Paige grins "yeah we do, so shall we keep it at your's then I mean since you've got your own room and everything."

He scratches the back of his head, "Well, I don't know..Ain't never taken care of a cat before." he looks worried, as if he'll kill the poor thing.

She smiles "well we just have to like feed it and stuff it's not that hard. I should probably go buy food for him though."

"You do that and I'll..uhh.." he doesn't know what he should do, or shouldn't do.

She smiles "I guess he could use a collar, you know something in like red velvet or something" she suggests "if you want to come over to mine later we could see about naming him?"
