The Elements of Friendship, Thursday, Period 3

Pinkie was still a little bit hoarse *rimshot* from singing all day yesterday, but that wasn't going to stop her from putting together an awesome class! The Danger Shop was set up as a little agricultural fair today, complete with a big bright barn on one side of the field, and stands offering assorted fried dough and apple products. The center of the field was set up in a rustic, circular obstacle course. Pinkie stood on a platform in the middle with a bullhorn on top of a little stand.

"Hi everypony!" she cheered in an ear whisper. "Welcome back! I hope you all had fun singing yesterday! I did!" Not being able to talk easily put no damper on Pinkie's enthusiasm, it seemed. "Today, you all get to try out a Ponyville tradition: the Sisterhooves Social! But since you're not sisters and you don't have hooves, I guess it's the Friendlyfeet Social, today! Yay!" She stomped her feet happily.

"I've already paired you guys up, so take a few moments to enjoy the food and warm up, and get ready to race! The two-student team that gets to the finish line together first wins!"

He did not enjoy bugs, Jim. Did. Not. Enjoy. Them.

"They're fake bugs! This isn't even a real fair!"

Oh yeah. He went there, Topher.

That said, he was getting up, pointedly standing in the way in case Topher wanted to backtrack. The only way out was to go to the next obstacle.

JIM WAS HELL-BENT ON WINNING THIS.

Oh yeah, he could taste that victory already!
