Philosophy 101- Week #2- Period 4

The students were back in the theater-looking Danger Shop today, where Jaye was standing in front of the screen. "So I decided why give up on a time-honored tradition? Before Lex hits play this week, I want everyone to go around the room, tell me your name, and whether or not you completely ignored the class description and/or thought that was a joke."

She was curious.

"And then we'll do a movie. What can I say, people inspired me this weekend."

She could not tell if that was him being snarky or not.

"You should. Be glad that your sucky luck means you get to do nothing for a class period," Jaye advised. "Which is pretty much what you do in a philosophy class anyway, except it usually involves more falling asleep."

He wasn't being snarky at all. He was genuinely stoked his luck had led him to this class.

"I'm glad my attempts at being academic went wrong," Sam said, nodding. "Guess my luck was actually good this time around. I think I'll actually do well in this class."
