Wesley was researching. This probably wasn't a huge surprise. Something strange was afoot, so he could be found at the front desk, poring over a stack of books several feet high and copying potentially relevant passages over into his notes. It was the Watcher way, damnit.

And alternating between clinging to Karla and clinging to Thor.
"Sometimes he seems okay and then it hits him all over again." Which Karla remembered from when she'd lost her parents. The first few days were never easy. "I think he might be up for company tomorrow, though."
