Professor Chaucer: Office Hours

Chaucer will be in his office today for anyone with questions, complaints, or really good gossip. He wouldn't be averse to a cup of espresso, either.

"that's fine, I just wanted to make sure you knew I didn't mind withdrawing. I guess this whole situation is a little odd, mind you at this school it's nothing really is it?" she laughs thinking about how she's dated Chuacer and danced with Beethoven.

He laughs. "There's nothing about this place that would surprise me anymore. And, I mean it, Paige, don't withdraw, all right?"

She nods smiling "I won't I just wanted to make sure I wasn't like pushing myself on you or anything cos you know, I think this whole starting again from scratch is the best thing for us."

She blushes slightly "sorry there is no us is there?"

"There's us as friends, Paige. The rest...we'll work on slowly, as see where it takes us. But...not while you're enrolled in my classes, all right?"

Paige nods "yeah of course that makes sense. I don't want you getting into trouble. I'll see you later." She says picking up her bag, it felt so weird not being able to touch him anymore, but she knew she just needed to give everything time.

"Oh, Paige, I meant to ask you -- you didn't send me a set of writing quills, did you? I received a set by delivery yesterday, but there was no card with it."

"Erm no I kinda made you a femo pig, but it was well, pathetic and purple, but no quills. Sorry."

"You made me a pig? That's really nice of you, Paige." He smiles. "Don't be sorry about the quills, I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually."

In a mock-serious voice, but grinning, he adds as she leaves, "Have a good day, Miss Matthews, and I expect to see you in class later."

She looks in her bag and pulls out a pig with a purple body, blue head and green tail, it doesn't really look all that much like pig either. "Erm this is it she says."

"and yes, sir I'll be in class." she smiles
