Pinkie was wearing her costume from Monday. Possibly still. Because the only thing better than taking a class taught by a talking pink pony was taking a class taught by a talking pink pony dressed like a chicken.

"Hi everypony!" Oh dear, and she was more hyper than usual somehow, too. Someone had been gorging on Halloween treats all week. "Welcome back! It's so good to see you all! Are you excited? Are you? Are you? Are you?"

For the love of Pete, someone say they were excited.

"Well, today I'd like you to meet some very good friends of mine! Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, and Apple Bloom, the Cutie Mark Crusaders!" She stepped aside to reveal three little ponies, all about a third of the size of Pinkie, herself. There was an orange pegasus pony with bright pink hair, a white unicorn pony with pink and blue hair, and a yellow earth pony with red hair and a giant bow. "Except they're not really my friends because my friends have to be in their own school back in Ponyville but these little ponies are just like my friends back home! It's like magic!"

How the hell Pinkie learned to program the Danger Shop well enough to make duplicates of the Cutie Mark Crusaders was anybody's guess.

"Now, these little ponies are still only itty bitty teeny weeny little ponies, so they still need some looking after. So that's your job today! Good luck!" Pinkie grinned. "You're gonna neeeeeeeeed it!"

"Blood pressure cuff," said Scootaloo to Sweetie Belle.

"Blood pressure cuff," said Sweetie Belle to Apple Bloom.

"Blood pressure cuff," said Apple Bloom to . . . empty air. Then she zipped off and returned with a blood pressure cuff, which she handed to Sweetie Belle. "Blood pressure cuff."

Sweetie Belle handed it to Scootaloo. "Blood pressure cuff."

Scootaloo was entirely without the coordination to attach a blood pressure cuff to Annie's arm, and thus moved to drop it on her chest instead. "Blood pressure cuff."

"I don't think it goes there," Annie said, and she'd be more helpful if she wasn't being restrained by ponies.

RESTRAINED BY PONIES. SERIOUSLY.

"Who's the doctor here?!" Scootaloo bellowed. "Pipecleaner!"

"Pipecleaner," said Sweetie Belle.

"Pipecleaner!" said Apple Bloom. She zipped off and returned with a pipecleaner the size of her leg. "Pipecleaner!"

"Pipecleaner!" said Sweetie Belle.

"Pipecleaner!" said Scootaloo. And started poking in Annie's general direction with it.

A pipecleaner had never looked so threatening.

"I'm allergic to pipecleaners!" she tried.

What. Desperate times called for desperate measures.

Scootaloo spit the pipecleaner out to the side and leaned in to peer closely at Annie. After a moment, she nodded, straightened up, and yelled "ALLERGY SHOT!" at the tops of her lungs.

Thaaaaaaat couldn't be good.

"I'M ALLERGIC TO ALLERGY SHOTS!" Annie yelled, also at the top of her lungs.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders exchanged looks. She was good.

Scootaloo looked down, her expression bleak. "The prognosis is not good. You're doomed."

Was that good or bad in this case? Annie wasn't sure.

"Oh no. How long do I have?" she asked.

"About five seconds." Then all three ponies started counting down from five at the tops of their lungs.

"FIVE! FOUR! THREE! TWO! ONE!"

Annie had no idea what happened when they hit one. So she maybe winced when they did.

She was still alive, though! Yay?

"Well, she's dead," Scootaloo said. She craned her neck, walking in a circle. "Did I get one yet? Is it cool?"

"Nope," said Apple Bloom. "Guess you're not a human doctor."

"Maybe we're supposed to be human trainers!" guessed Sweetie Belle.
