Library, Tuesday

Rinoa was in a wonderful mood today. She was still doing research, but it was geared towards transitioning countries out of occupations and back towards running their own government. She also needed to plan a trip back to Timber, to talk to people and find out who should be in charge of the starting committee.

Not Zone and Watts. They'd be angry at her for saying it, but ... they didn't have the gravitas for this. Maybe she could find something unimportant for them to do, off to the side, that had an important name.

She was also suddenly glad that her father wasn't making any public moves until she had her committee in place.

The library was open, even if its librarian's aide was digging through governmental tomes today.

And that would be a certain little sib coming by for a visit. With two cups of coffee.

Hopefully Rinoa liked coffee.

"Hey sis," Jack said with a grin. "Came by to see if you still needed my help hating your parental units."

Oh, hey, hug away I say.

"That's great!" Jack exclaimed having not the slighttest clue about what a committee about wood has to do with pulling troops out. "At least.. I think it's great? If you say it is. Are we talking about Timber being a place or is this some ecological thing I don't know about? Oh, and my sister was great. Kept her away from boys and any potential booze."

Plus she didn't fall into a life threatening situation like she seems to back home every week. Score.

"Actually we pretty much avoided any serious topic and just heckled each other," Jack admitted. "It's a thing. And hey, good for your dad maybe not being a gigantic asshole. I'll try to hate him less if that's appropriate."

"Okay," Jack said with a grin. "Then I'll just continue to hate him for you just in case."

"She was expecting it to be a lot more weird than it really was," Jack said with a small grin. "She didn't believe me about the gremlins, though."
