The decorations from La na Gaidhlig were still up, but Camulus is fetchingly decked out in his Hallowe'en costume, that of a Civil War-era soldier.

"Oidche Shamna shona dhuibh. Happy Hallowe'en to you. This holiday appears to be slightly more important than I had first thought," he says, leaning against the desk and fidgeting in his pants. "So there will be no proper lesson today. However, I'd like you all to think about the characters we have encountered so far and what they would dress up as for Hallowe'en." He pauses. "Also, could someone explain the concept of . . . "popular" to me?"

Phoebe smiles. "It's a word that describes someone or something that has a large following of people or societies that either like them a lot or want to emulate them."

Camulus nods slowly. "I have observed that this seems to have acquired almost a religious significance to some people." He frowns. "Hmm. Maybe in order to rebuild my forces I should become popular."

Phoebe tilts her head. "Forces? I don't understand, but if it makes any difference, you are among my favorite people and are very popular with me."
