The Club Fair, Gym, Friday Afternoon

Though he'd heard about something like it being in the works, the club fair wasn't what Simon had been looking for.

Regardless, it was what he found, just as it was being set up. He almost left straight away, to avoid being in anyone's way, but then his curiosity won out. So, he decided to stay and take a look at the club schedule.

Couldn't hurt, could it?

Sam was totally only here for the pizza.

Also to possibly see if she could make smoke come out of someone's ears.

She took another large bite, looking over at the sorority table. "What's the difference?"

Warren gave that question all the consideration that it was due. For a moment, with a bit too much of Lucivar's charming influence behind him, he contemplated on saying something regarding balls and tits.

Fortunately, diplomacy won that brief internal struggle.

"Mostly, it's the difference between sleepovers and panty raids, I think."

Sam twitched slightly at the word 'panties', then crammed the last of the pizza slice in her mouth.

"And what difference is that?"

Balls and tits!

"Um... the fraternity is usually for males," Warren ventured. "And I'm pretty sure the sorority does more or less the same things that we do, except I can't be certain, because it's females-only so I don't really get to sit in on their meetings, or anything."

... He probably could if he asked, as an emissary from the KKG and all, but that was beside the point.

Sam reached for another slice of pizza.

"If they do the same thing, why're there two of 'em?"

She was wondering if she could keep this up long enough to eat an entire pie.

If Warren knew that was her plan, he'd just give her a box.

"Because if the guys and girls of the school don't have a bit of time to just hang out with other guys or other girls, it's entirely possible that their brains will explode," he said, keeping a straight face. "There have been very scientific studies on that sort of thing."

Now where would the fun in that be?

"Are you saying that if I showed up to one of your meetings, your guys' heads would explode?" Sam brightened at the prospect. "How cool is that?!"

"Less cool for us," Warren confided, reasonably. "We'd be forced to send secret agents to infiltrate the girls' meetings in order to exact our revenge."

... Not making frat sound any less awesome, Warren.

Really not.

"Club war! Awesome!" Sam stuffed another giant lump of pizza in her mouth. "Now I really gotta sign up."

"You could," Warren noted, and then took a step back as if sizing her up with a critical eye. "Or you could do something very important for us."

He nodded over to the Sorority table.

"You see... we would stand a much better chance at coming out on top of some kind of club war if we had... eyes on the inside, so to speak." He leaned forward a bit, his already mellow voice dropping a little lower. "A double agent."

Sam nodded very seriously and leaned in. "And that argument totally works on me."

She crammed the rest of her pizza slice into her mouth, still leaning in and looking very seriously at Warren.

"Totally."

"Well, it was worth a shot," Warren laughed, straightening up and reaching to close the pizza box that she was claiming slices from. "My next step is bribery, you know."

He could even be shameless about admitting that's exactly what it was, too!

"I absolutely take bribes," Sam said, moving to snatch a third slice of pizza before the box fully closed. "They tend to be way less work than active blackmail."

Warren tilted his head at her, thoughtfully.

"For every meeting that the Frat has that isn't crashed by a girl, I'll have a whole pizza, toppings of your choice, forwarded to your dorm room. Paid in advance, so that I'll be guaranteed to remember for the rest of the semester."

"That is a very fine bribe you're offering, sir." Sam nodded along. "Whole large pizza, unlimited toppings of my choice, paid in advance, including tip."

"Deal."

... It wasn't like his wallet was going to feel this, anyhow.

"Get me a list of toppings, and I'll see to it that Pizza Planet delivers."

This was how the no-girls-allowed rule was supposed to be enforced, right?

"Meat." Yeah, they might need something a little more specific than that. "Lots of meat."

"Like... Meat lovers? With... triple toppings?"

He was guessing, here. His own junk food vice was mostly just Mooby's.

Sam nodded thoughtfully. "That sounds pretty meaty. Oh, and throw in one of those shakers of red pepper flakes. Weekly."

Hey, Freddie might be a nub, but he might also be onto something with that whole "perfect balance to the pizza slice" theory of his.

"Done." The sacred institution that was Frat had been defended from estrogen for yet another semester! Warren offered her his hand - ignore the claws - for a shake. "Enjoy your pizza."

Sam didn't even blink. "Enjoy your manly meetings. I'll make sure no other girls try to infiltrate." She smiled. "Maybe I'll sit outside with a big sign saying 'no girls allowed'. I could enjoy my pizza right then and there. And document it for iCarly. I'd call it 'Adventures in Mercenary Security at Fandom High'."

As she spoke, she reached for another slice of pizza.

"The sign kind of makes it sound like third grader playground politics," Warren noted, "but I guess I can't really keep anybody from sitting outside the door, either. Especially if they're being paid in pizza."

So, so much pizza.

"It's supposed to," Sam assured him. What, did anyone expect her to be mature about a fraternity refusing to allow a cisgendered female student to join? "Pleasure doing business with you."

And with that, she reached out to grab one of the boxes of pizza and walk off with it.

Warren watched her go, and then sighed, raking a hand through his hair before pulling out his phone to make the order to Pizza Planet.

He'd suspected it right from his first encounter with a girl on Fandom island, and his theory held true even to this day: Clearly, all girls were insane.
