Bod had missed his last library shift because Hurricane Irene decided to show her ass he'd gotten caught at the Portalocity hub after taking a quick trip to England so he was making up for that today by being extra early and working extra hard. After all the books had been checked in and shelved, he was going through each aisle to make sure there were no errant books stuck in the wrong places and to make sure the general upkeep of the books was still good.
He didn't expect to find anything out of place because this library tended to take care of itself but he wanted to see that with his own eyes.
