Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

Once people got through their introductions and initial brain breaking, some of them would surely want to sit down. Luckily, there were plenty of tables and chairs set up across the lawn, some in the shade, some out in the open, some close to the buffet, and some in as much of a shadowy corner as one could get in an outdoor space with no actual walls. It was all part of the Fandom experience, really.

Rosella had seen a great many strange things in her lifetime. Evil weevils, three-headed dragons, unicorns, flying monkeys, talking guard dogs, but a pink pony was still a new one and it positively delighted her to see one there. Knowing the trouble she'd had with unicorns in the past (ahem), she felt she came prepared this time, with a carrot danging from her hand as she held it out.

"Come and try a nice, healthy, crunchy carrot, pretty pony," she called out, hoping to entice the animal over and perhaps pet it. She was far too small to ride, but how could she not want to be friendly with a pink pony?

"Okay!" Pinkie said agreeably. She zipped over, possibly leaving a pink blur in the air behind her, and ate the entire carrot in one bite. "Thanks!"
