For today's final, Hercules again directed the class into the Danger Shop.

"We have done many things, fought dragons, rescued kittens, designed outfits. But this class is also about the Olympian way, so today we go to the great deeds of Olympic heroes. And I don't mean those of Jesse Owens, whose deeds were that of legend as well."

He grinned as he gestured to what lay ahead of them. In front of the class was a big wooden door, the kind one would normally expect in front of a dungeon. But surely they'd done a dungeon already?

"Ahead of you lies the mighty labyrinth, that which Theseus conquered," Hercules said. "Ah, but you are thinking, 'Hercules, why not one of your own triumphs?'. Those I am saving for my fall class. This... this is a classic. You should be happy I did not pick Icarus! Though... Warren here would be at an unfair advantage, there." He laughed.

"The task is almost sheer elegance in its simplicity," Hercules said. "Get to the center of the labyrinth, where there is punch and pie."

He pressed open the doors to the labyrinth.

"Oh, and there is a minotaur in there. And some trolls. And a few goblins. Just to make it interesting."

He laughed, and gestured for the class to enter.

"I shall see you at the center!"

"I have never had the occasion to find out such a thing," Raven said.

She peered at Bobby. "You have not altered your body in any lasting way as well, have you?" she asked. He could be hiding a new tattoo somewhere.

Bobby's expression twisted into a slightly bitter smile for just a second, because his body had been altered recently, just- not by this trip.

"I don't think so," he said, and then lowered his voice somewhat so that their classmates ~~or the squirrels~~ wouldn't overhear. "I don't remember, but it's possible I might've tried," he admitted quietly. "But those things don't always take."

Raven caught the shift in his emotions, and her expression grew more concerned. "Are you all right?" she said quietly. "I know this is not the place to speak of something that might be troubling you, but if you need to talk, I am willing to listen and help in whatever way I can."

She knew Sookie's imminent departure must be weighing heavily on him, but she wasn't so sure that was what was bothering him.

"I'm fine," he said, trying to reassure Raven.

She was right, of course; he wasn't looking forward to Sookie's leaving by any means, but living the sort of life he did meant being used to people coming and going. So no, her leaving for Bon Temps wasn't the issue... the problem was that at this point he wasn't even sure anymore what the issue was.

Don't lie to the empath, Bobby.

She didn't want to press in public, so she nodded, but decided to seek him out later to ~~pester~~ ask him again. "Well, I am pleased you seem none the worse for your adventure," she said. She gave him a teasing smile. "Though I am surprised your hair is not as colorful as Warren's wings."

"I don't think there was enough dye left after we got Warren's wings done," Bobby explained with a smirk. Or the fact that he'd iced up at some point during the night meant whatever 'damage' he'd done to himself had been forgotten. Advantage of having a can-rebuild-his-body-molecule-by-molecule factor rather than a healing factor.

Raven glanced back over at Warren and his rainbow colored wings. "So do you remember how that happened?" she said. "He does not."

"Nooooot a clue," Bobby replied, laughing. "There was a very put-out goose in our hotel room, though. I think he was jealous."

"Was the goose also dyed?" Raven had to know. Maybe it had been practice for Warren, poor thing.

"No," Bobby shook his head. "That's why I think he was jealous."
