For today's final, Hercules again directed the class into the Danger Shop.

"We have done many things, fought dragons, rescued kittens, designed outfits. But this class is also about the Olympian way, so today we go to the great deeds of Olympic heroes. And I don't mean those of Jesse Owens, whose deeds were that of legend as well."

He grinned as he gestured to what lay ahead of them. In front of the class was a big wooden door, the kind one would normally expect in front of a dungeon. But surely they'd done a dungeon already?

"Ahead of you lies the mighty labyrinth, that which Theseus conquered," Hercules said. "Ah, but you are thinking, 'Hercules, why not one of your own triumphs?'. Those I am saving for my fall class. This... this is a classic. You should be happy I did not pick Icarus! Though... Warren here would be at an unfair advantage, there." He laughed.

"The task is almost sheer elegance in its simplicity," Hercules said. "Get to the center of the labyrinth, where there is punch and pie."

He pressed open the doors to the labyrinth.

"Oh, and there is a minotaur in there. And some trolls. And a few goblins. Just to make it interesting."

He laughed, and gestured for the class to enter.

"I shall see you at the center!"

That glass looked promising as Faramir's throat was rather dry.

"Thank you," he said, inclining his head. Whether he was as proud as he should be was another matter. "For a moment I did not think I would find the center before the end of the class."

Hercules gestured at the punch bowl and cups. "But you did. And many would not be able to. Enjoy the fruits of your achievement. And know that I was always quite proud of your achievements in this course."

It was somewhat strange to have anyone say this to him other than his brother, and Faramir found himself at a loss for words.

"Thank you," he repeated a little sheepishly before his attention wandered towards the punch. He moved over to fill himself a glass. "That does look refreshing after everything."

"That is why I made sure to have refreshments," Hercules said. "Because unless you are Miss Raven, it is quite a trial to make it to the center!"

He chuckled.

"That was most considerate," Faramir said gratefully after he had drained his cup of punch. It did not take away his tiredness, but it did refresh him. "Raven had no problems finding the center then?"

"Her powers allowed her to teleport straight to the center," Hercules said. "Rather unfair, but that is not her fault."

"No, I imagine I would have done rather the same in her stead," Faramir agreed. Which was utterly incorrect as he would have considered it cheating and he would have done it the hard way.

"Then perhaps it is time for both of us to learn to teleport," Hercules said with a laugh.
