Fandom High Auditorium, Thursday Afternoon
As whatever was happening on the island became less and less likely to be cleared up with a good old fashioned fight, it seemed it was time to figure out just what to do next. So, a radio announcement let people know to meet up at the school to pool their resources and go over what they knew so far.
Even if some of the people who were supposed to be in charge weren’t looking quite so well anymore...
Gray wasn’t the most charming color when it came to human skin tone.

Re: Arrive/Mingle
Still, his skin was unblemished, so he was up one on the people running the island right now, he supposed. Strangely enough? That wasn't a very reassuring thought.
At least he'd brought the socketed sword to this one.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
Reno didn't have much in the way of Materia, but what he did have was more Thunder than you could shake a stick at. They multiplied when they were mastered, after all, and Reno used his enough to spawn a collection of low-level Thunders that could supply a small army.
Mostly he just hoarded them, though. They were shiny and they were his, and they sold for an arm and a leg on Edge's black market now that the Materia trade was practically illegal.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
Runes were interesting old things. This was no different, in that respect.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
And remote-controlled cats. And lion-dogs whose asses were on fire. So.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
It sort of twisted and clicked; an arc of electricity shot up from the socket up to the end of the blade. "...Nevermind that."
Re: Arrive/Mingle
"Looks like it works, yo." See, nothing to it. "Gets stronger as you use it, too. Might not seem like much at first, but you use that enough and you'll be makin' twitchy little brain-fried monsters all over the place, yo."
Please, try to ignore the unholy glee in Reno's voice, there. He liked sharing the thunder.

Re: Arrive/Mingle
A little smirk.
"If you get it to drop a new one, I'll let you keep that. I got plenty."
Re: Arrive/Mingle
If he had any idea where she was.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
Reno's experience with children in battle was mostly that they were prone to sticking their fingers up his nose at inopportune moments.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
Still, he was going to admire his nice little lightening-y sword.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
Liiiies.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
He was being Very Serious. Obviously.
Re: Arrive/Mingle
"Any ol' dragon, huh?" Reno would love to see some little kid taking on a Bahamut someday. Either he'd laugh his ass off, or freak out and try to jump in to help the kid. "Man, kids these days. In my day we were more worried about how to take on the worms that were gettin' into the food."
In his own defense, Gaian worms were huge.
