Try Not to Die!!!! [Tuesday, August 2]
Anakin had taken two steps across the causeway toward the new town and all of the hair on the back of his neck had stood up. He had a definite bad feeling about the place that was entirely separate from the feeling of general unease that he'd woken up with.
He hoped he wasn't coming down with something--he was hardly ever sick and because of that made for one rotten patient.
He contacted his students to let them know to ]meet him at the Danger Shop this morning, which had been programmed to look like the Coruscant he'd spent his teenage and young adult years on: Tahiri would recognize some of the changes, but for the most part Coruscant was an enormous, bustling city that covered an entire planet.
"Welcome to Coruscant, the capital planet of my galaxy," Anakin said, projecting his voice to be heard over the noise of the streets as thousands of aliens jostled past the students. "It's the home to billions of different beings, and you'll hear hundreds of different languages as you race around today. Try not to die--it'll be extremely difficult to find you here and dying upsets the Danger Shop programming."
Or wasn't allowed by the programming, but Anakin wasn't going to mention that.
He scratched idly at his arm, then stepped away from the clue box.

Road Block [8/2]
Eat all ten, don't die, and Dex will hand you your next clue.
Re: Road Block [8/2]
She'd also eaten better, but she wasn't going to focus on that as she mechanically ate.
Re: Road Block [8/2]
Finally she managed to 'finish' the last of them, looking rather green, and got the clue from Dex.
Re: Road Block [8/2]
Actually, the sliders weren't so bad after a few bites. They weren't trying to get away from him as he ate them, which won them serious bonus points in Jim's book.
Re: Road Block [8/2]
It took her a while to shovel them down, and she hoped she could make up her time on the next thing.
Re: Road Block [8/2]
She just wasn't thinking too closely about what she was eating.
Re: Road Block [8/2]
What he wouldn't give right now to have to do that tea challenge again...

Re: Road Block [8/2]
She didn't just eat all ten Sulfurous Moon Sliders, she ate them with gusto.
Re: Road Block [8/2]
... The sliders were not exactly his favourite food ever, but he managed to get them down fairly quickly. The trick, of course, was going to be keeping them down, but he managed at least long enough to get his clue and head onwards.
Re: Road Block [8/2]
Re: Road Block [8/2]
Maybe, but usually 'worse' was less . . . overt about it, because this was --
Aieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Halfway through she ended up having to excuse herself from the table for a few minutes best left undocumented, and came back to make her way through the rest of the meal while nagged by the lingering thought that green wasn't really her color. Conversely, and comfortingly, at least it was only a metaphorical green.
She hoped.
Re: Road Block [8/2]
He took way longer than he should have to get all ten down and suspected he'd be feeling that all day and night.

Re: Road Block [8/2]
I don't really know what the hell I mean by that, but it doesn't matter. BATMAN.As he thought it over while getting Dex's clue, he wasn't thrilled with his time, but it could have been worse.
Detour: Temple or Senate
Detour: Temple
If you get the number wrong, you'll have to climb it again.
When you get it right, the Jedi will tell you where to find Anakin.

Detour: Senate
Your job is to make 25 credits through some kind of performance art: either singing, dancing, playing a musical instrument, painting yourself silver and pretending to be a statue that moves...you cannot just ask people for money, though.
And don't do anything that will get you arrested by the Clone Troopers who are watching the square.
When you've made 25 credits, a trooper will tell you where to find Anakin.

Ask Tahiri or Anakin for help!

. . . part of her could understand why it had been reshaped; it made her a little twitchy.
Check in with Anakin [8/2]
Re: Check in with Anakin [8/2]
She didn't care what place she'd come in, all she really wanted to do was find a corner somewhere so she could curl up and die - name of the class notwithstanding.
