Instead of meeting on the causeway like usual, Anakin was bundled up as much as the rest of them and was standing before the workshop in....wherever the hell they were, using a bit of the Force to make sure his voice was heard over the wind.

"Because this environment is so drastic, I felt like there was more here for you to learn about survival, so today's class will also be held in the cold. There will be hot cocoa waiting for you on the other side, please keep your skin safe from the cold...and try not to die."

With that, Anakin raised his hand and dropped the class into the 19 individual caves he'd dug for them under the snow.

Anakin needed more productive hobbies.

Make Shelter is closer, but requires more brute strength; Make Tracks takes longer and might not be the best choice for students who are already cold from digging out of their caves.

When you get to the marked-off area to Make Shelter, you will find several sticks and the recently deceased, still warm carcass of a ~~tauntaun~~ buffalo.

And snow. Lots of snow. It's your choice what parts you use to build a shelter, but make one, take a picture of it with the digital camera provided inside the mouse droid, and then use the clue provided to run to find Anakin.

Of course there was a dead buffalo. Since Cara was already wearing as much dead animal as she cared to today and still had her pickaxe, she ignored it in favour of digging a trench in the snow.

Jim was too cold to want to make the trek through the snow, so he took the other option.

And stared. And stared some more.

"What am I supposed to do with this thing!?"

He didn't even want to get close to it, never mind the fact that he had no clue what it was even supposed to be. It took him a little longer than he would have liked to finally give in and go piling up snow around it, like a fort.

A fort with a dead buffalo in it.

Jason had a few ideas about what he was probably supposed to do with the buffalo, but he sure as hell wasn't going to do them. In the end, he settled for building a bit of a fort for protection next to the buffalo. That was close enough for him.

The spear allowed Bruce to cut through the buffalo's flesh fairly easily. He used that and the sticks to make a tent, which he warmed by insulating with the most convenient material around.

No, not snow.

The tent reeked, but it would work well and was made quickly.

Seifer decided on the shelter, because it was something he had done many, many times back at Garden. Using several milder fire spells, much smaller than the earlier Firaga, he burned out the inner cavity of the buffalo, getting rid of the organs and fluids. Then he packed snow around the corpse, deep and tightly packed. What was left was left sort of resembled an igloo.

He took a quick picture, grabbed his clue and ran towards the final.

Screw wandering around in the snow. Sam wanted a nap. If that meant skinning a dead buffalo and stringing the hide into a tent, so be it.

Hey, it only smelled a little worse than her cousin Tanya's house after a long summer weekend.

Without using your GPS and only using such landmarks that are around you and the map that was provided with the clue, track down and dig up three little plastic snowmen that Anakin has buried in the snow.

The final one will have the clue that will tell you where Anakin is hiding.

Stealthy coyote. Very, very stealthy coyote.

She left the bundle of clothes hidden off in the woods and again waited for clear space to be able to dash in and find the snowmen, slipping off whenever a classmate appeared. Once she'd found them all she disappeared off into the woods, shifted, dressed, and headed off to find Anakin.

[That Mercy has shifted is NFB, but if radio wants to report that a coyote was seen by people during class, that's fine.]

Nico had navigated the Labyrinth; he didn't think finding plastic snowmen with a map would be all that hard.

And it wasn't, setting him running for Anakin in what he felt was no time!
