Raven took her library duties Very Seriously, so once she was certain Karla had adequate protection back in Kaeleer and wasn't going to run off and do something foolish (hey, it was Karla, it was a legitimate concern!), she teleported back to Fandom to open up the library for the day. After shelving the books that had been returned late yesterday and straightening the stacks (some of the books had been leaving their shelves to huddle with others for warmth, despite the temperature inside the school being plenty warm enough), she sat at the front desk with a book of her own she'd been trying to finish.
