Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

In order to give people a place to get away from the traffic jam of the buffet and information tables, most of the chairs and tables for guests were set up further out on the lawn, under a tall blue and gold tent. There was plenty of room for everyone to sit down and enjoy themselves, but it might not have all been dry. Did we mention being grateful that it was just water falling from the sky?

"It's the innocence thing," Caroline replied, not even having to think about it. "Don't worry though, Jack. You're totally the hot brother, no matter how adorable Bobby is."

"He's a sophomore now, right? I so would've killed anyone who called me a kid when I was fifteen," she pointed out. "I bet the girls knock down his door come Homecoming." Ooh, a Sadie Hawkins theme could be awesome for that...

"I laughed at him," Jack replied. "And then told her to stay away from him, which didn't go so well. She was twice his size."

"So she was my size?" Caroline joked. Whatever, just because her shoes rocketed her up to over six feet, she wouldn't stop wearing them. "God, I so cannot even picture that! I'd expect like, a short girl with the type of vocabulary that makes you think she reads the thesaurus for fun."
