Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

In order to give people a place to get away from the traffic jam of the buffet and information tables, most of the chairs and tables for guests were set up further out on the lawn, under a tall blue and gold tent. There was plenty of room for everyone to sit down and enjoy themselves, but it might not have all been dry. Did we mention being grateful that it was just water falling from the sky?

Pinkie twitched her tail in return. And her nose. Well, she was a little bit twitchy anyway.

"Hi! I'm Pinkie! What's your name?"

"Blysse," Firekeeper introduced herself. The use of human speech (or what she thought of as human speech, Pinkie's opinion on the matter might differ somewhat) at least, wasn't surprising, after knowing Jan. "And Blind Seer," she added, just in case this pony didn't speak wolf.

She absolutely didn't. You needed Fluttershy for that sort of thing. "It's so nice to meet you both! Isn't this party fun?"

"There is not enough music and dancing," Firekeeper informed Pinkie matter-of-factly. "But the food is good."

Pinkie gasped hard enough to actually levitate a few feet off the ground. "THAT'S WHAT I SAID!" She landed with a bounce. "But then Ramona said she thought it was good enough without it."

"This Ramona sound very foolish," Firekeeper decided. "Music is best part of parties."

"Music and food," Pinkie agreed. "When you get full you can just dance until you're hungry again!"

"Yes!" Firekeeper nodded. "This island have many strange things like that about it," she shared. "You get used to it, after a time."

"Like such," Firekeeper nodded. "Two-legs have no coats of their own, so they must wear clothes all the time to stay warm." And even sometimes when they didn't need to stay warm, which still confused her. Humans were weird.

"Even in the summer?" Pinkie shook her head. "These 'two-legs' sound a little fishy, to me. Well, except that they have two legs and fish don't have any!"

"They get very upset when one does not have clothes, even in summer," Firekeeper confirmed, the wordplay sailing right over her head.

That was alright, Pinkie was very used to people not getting her.

"Oh." Pinkie looked down over her own naked body. "I hope I haven't offended anypony."

"Blind Seer does not have clothes, either," Firekeeper pointed out. "This rule is mostly for two-legs."
