Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

In order to give people a place to get away from the traffic jam of the buffet and information tables, most of the chairs and tables for guests were set up further out on the lawn, under a tall blue and gold tent. There was plenty of room for everyone to sit down and enjoy themselves, but it might not have all been dry. Did we mention being grateful that it was just water falling from the sky?

As this was her second picnic, and the first where she had some clue of what this place was all about, Annie was feeling kind of like an old pro. She wondered if the newbie would be able to tell that she wasn't new now.

Actually, she also wondered if the not-newbies would be able to tell she wasn't new now. It was like she knew everyone in school yet. They might see her unfamiliar face and assume she was fresh off the shuttle.

She wondered if she could look less new. If anyone wanted her, she'd be trying to do so. (Hint: she looked absolutely no different than normal.)
