Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

In order to give people a place to get away from the traffic jam of the buffet and information tables, most of the chairs and tables for guests were set up further out on the lawn, under a tall blue and gold tent. There was plenty of room for everyone to sit down and enjoy themselves, but it might not have all been dry. Did we mention being grateful that it was just water falling from the sky?

"I've never gotten sympathy points before." Not when everybody knew your family worked for the mob. "I bet those would be all sorts of useful."

"With the right people, sympathy points are worth your weight in gold," Peter shared. Not that he'd ever try to get any deliberately. "Anyway, if you have any more questions about the island and the party guy doesn't have an answer, I'm on the third floor. Room 318, and don't mind my roommate. He's got a... problem."

No, he didn't.

"But he's okay."

"I'll try to keep an open mind about him," Cassel promised. "And thanks. I'm in 327 so I'll be sure to take you up on that. Won't get lost or anything."

"Oh sorry," Cassel said, raising up gloved hands. "Won't make the mistake again. I'm guessing jinxes could actually workaround here."

"Two weeks ago, we were attacked by robot spiders," Peter said, shrugging. "Anything's possible. So if you're going to call in the plague, do it while I'm off the island."

He was going to have to figure out this guy's deal sooner rather than later.
