Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

In order to give people a place to get away from the traffic jam of the buffet and information tables, most of the chairs and tables for guests were set up further out on the lawn, under a tall blue and gold tent. There was plenty of room for everyone to sit down and enjoy themselves, but it might not have all been dry. Did we mention being grateful that it was just water falling from the sky?

"I feel much better now," Quinn said dryly. "Seriously, it sounds like an incredible vacation. And now we get to be seniors."

"Nothing but blowing off classes and bossing around freshman for a whole year, right?" Bruce joked.

"And if I start working on it now, I can probably get Homecoming Queen and Prom Queen," Quinn added.

She'd kind of missed that Bruce was joking.

It was okay. He kind of expected it. It was part of Quinn's charm.

"With that kind of determination, you have the early lead for my vote," Bruce said.

"I knew I liked you for a reason," Quinn said cheerily. "You can never tell, though. People vote in weird ways sometimes. But I'll do my best."

"Well, you have months to win over the hearts and minds of your fellow seniors," Bruce said. "I'm sure that somebody with your charm can win even the weirder voters over before then."

"I can be sneaky," Quinn laughed. "I should go introduce myself to some of the fresh meat, but I'll talk to you later."
