Parent Check-in

Rover, Martin Blank and Alanna Trebond sit at the registration table with information packets

Included in the packets are:
Your child's/ward's/whatever relationship you have with this person's Class Schedule
A Map of the School and Town
A Schedule of Events for Parents Weekend
The rules and regulations of Parents Weekend
A Coupon Book

At the desk is a sign saying:
Please sign in here for Parents Weekend

And depending who is looking at the sign it will magically say:
To ensure everyone's safety, please surrender any Firearms/Weaponry/Magical doodads that will cause harm to our students.

Your property will be returned to you before you leave.

Thank you!

ETA: Parents/Guardians are now required to check in on their own.
((OOC: In other words... If your parents are somewhat "normal" and unarmed they will not see the message. Unless they are packing some kind of weapon, and then they will be see it. Got it?))

Piper spots Grams in the crowd and immidiately runs over to her. "Grams! You have no idea how much I missed you!"

Grams set the package down carefully and held out her arms to Piper. "My darling girl," she said, giving Piper a long hug. "I'm so sorry I'm late. I had to stop and vanquish a demon. I was unavoidably detained. It's so nice of you to wait up for me."

Piper smiled at Grams, so happy to see her. "Someone had to wait up for you. I wanted to make sure you got here safely."

"Nothing could keep me away, Piper," Grams said fondly. "Prue sends her love." She picked the package back up, holding it protectively. "I suppose you have a hundred questions for me."

"I know that," Piper said gratefully. "I do have so many questions."

She peered at the package. "What is that?"

"Something I need to show you and your sisters," Grams said. She looked around cautiously and dropped her voice. "About what you are. About who you are."

Piper nodded, understanding. "I can't wait to find out more about our heritage."

"And that's exactly why I'm here," Grams said. "Well, and to see my darling girls, of course."

"I'm so glad you're here," Piper said. "Where are you staying? I realized I never even asked."

"I suppose I could stay in a hotel," Grams said. She smiled at Piper. "I'd rather stay close to my girls if you have the room."

Piper smiled back. "I'd like that too. Phoebe and I are staying in the east attic with our roomates Kitty and Rogue. But there are two extra rooms. Paige is staying in the South attic now. I think."

"That sounds wonderful," Grams said. She looked down at her as-of-yet-unmentioned suitcase. "Could you be a dear and help me with that?"

"Sure," Piper said, picking the suitcase up off the floor. "Ready to go?"

"After you, my dear," Grams said, noting to herself how appropriate it was that her granddaughters were living in an attic.
