Re: Check in with Alanna
Re: Check in with Alanna
"JAYE! Oh my God, Jaye!"
When Jaye finally arrives, Sharon shies away from actual physical contact, but instead asks cooly, "So, killed anybody yet?"
Re: Check in with Alanna
"Nah. I've got people here who could do that for me." She eyes Sharon. "What happened to you?"
Re: Check in with Alanna
Her hands are visibly shaking.
(Erm, sorry. *g*)
She reaches into her purse - but not to pull out a mirror. She draws a cigarette from her pack and fumbles with her lighter.

Re: Check in with Alanna
She looks stricken.
"I can't smoke in here? Don't tell me I have to go to the girl's locker room to smoke. I mean, I know that's how it worked at my high school, but this isn't exactly a school for, well, normal people, is it? Don't you delinquents pretty much do whatever you want?"
She laughed briefly. "Not that I have an objection to girl's locker rooms on principle, but these girls are a little...young...for me."
Re: Check in with Alanna
Anyway. You don't smoke in the girls' room. You see, there's this wonderful world called outside..."
Re: Check in with Alanna
And of course you're delinquents. You don't have to hide it to protect me, Jaye, although that's sweet. Mom told Aaron and I that they were sending you to a special school because you hit that old woman when you were returning her purse. What else would that mean?"
Re: Check in with Alanna
"That may have been why, but everyone's not a delinquent," she says, taking a little offense. She's not a delinquent, she's a hoodlum. In training. "They're normal. Ignoring all blue people, and gray people, and Muppets."
Re: Check in with Alanna
Why did I see a man in a werewolf costume when I walked in here? Or at least I think it was a werewolf. Brown, furry, grunted a lot?"
Sharon reluctantly put her cigarettes away. "Fine, no smoking section in a school, whatever. But I need a cigarette soon."
Re: Check in with Alanna
As she starts off, checking to make sure Sharon's following her, she says, "You have a problem with Muppets?"
