Rover, Martin Blank and Alanna Trebond sit at the registration table with information packets

Included in the packets are:
Your child's/ward's/whatever relationship you have with this person's Class Schedule
A Map of the School and Town
A Schedule of Events for Parents Weekend
The rules and regulations of Parents Weekend
A Coupon Book

At the desk is a sign saying:
Please sign in here for Parents Weekend

And depending who is looking at the sign it will magically say:
To ensure everyone's safety, please surrender any Firearms/Weaponry/Magical doodads that will cause harm to our students.

Your property will be returned to you before you leave.

ETA: Parents/Guardians are now required to check in on their own.
((OOC: In other words... If your parents are somewhat "normal" and unarmed they will not see the message. Unless they are packing some kind of weapon, and then they will be see it. Got it?))

"Merely that Angelus has a talent for taking advantage of a situation in the way that suits him best." Parker's smile is cold but polite. "Forgive me, I couldn't help but overhear. I'm Parker."

Marty hears the commotion, comes over and places his hand on Parker's upper arm.

"Parker. Let's not make a scene now shall we?"

Parker smiles slow and evil at Marty. "At a reception? Blank, Blank. You underestimate me."

Marty eyes flicker over to where Dean Bristow and Rover are.

"Don't. Make. A. Scene" he says quietly and a smile.

"For your own protection you goof," he thinks.

Parker follows his gaze, and tilts her head. "Relax, I'm not going to be accusing anyone of anything, or setting anyone on fire, or asking them where they buried the bodies in the good old days...."

Marty rolls his eyes. It's her funeral.

"Just don't encourage them." Marty says softly, but annoyed.

"Like they need it," Parker muttered.

"But I like scenes," Darla says with a very edged smile. "So much more... entertaining."

"Charmed. I'm sure. I'm Darla."

Parker's smile gets nervy, edged. But she stands her ground. "Really? The one who sired him? I've read about you."

"Parkie fancies herself to be my sworn enemy," Angelus grinned at Parker. "It's cute in a way."

"I can see that. She's adorable. Read about me, have you? I didn't realize I made it to the tabloids."

Parker ignores Angelus, not deeming his comment worth a response. "Well, at your age, I can see how you'd confuse historical documentation with tabloids." She studies Darla consideringly. "They got the beauty right. I do wonder how much of the rest of it was accurate."

"All. Of. It." Darla's smile is nothing pleasant. "If you know that much about me, then you're a fool to yank my tail just to see if I wince."

Parker manages to keep her composure, then smile a little more charmingly. "Forgive me. I'd thought you were on the same restricted diet and lifestyle as Angelus. How silly of me to make such a mistake."

"I prefer to think of it as otherly enhanced. How silly of you, indeed. Was there anything else you needed to know, or are you done butting into a conversation that doesn't concern you?"

"You're the one who responded to a comment I made to myself. But truly, no, I have nothing at all to say to you. Except one question: when are you leaving?"

"When I feel like it. When are you?"

"Long after you're gone." Parker tilts her head, lets her voice drop low. "So glad we had this conversation. I'm sure that having you here will bring Angelus back to his old self in no time."

Sam continues to loom over her shoulder, looking solid and thuggish and uncomfortable.

"You assume I haven't been already?" Angelus smiled at her, sweet as anything.

"Is she someone we should pay any attention to, darling?"

"I'm sorry Miss Parker," Jonathan says, smiling winningly at Parker, "we were kind of having a conversation," he completely fails to look in Martin Blank's direction.

"So I overheard." She gives him a blank look. "Who are you again?"

Jonathan smiles again, "Jonathan Crane, I'm the guy you creamed for the Academic Affairs position from your hospital bed," he tells her, clearly not all that angry that she doesn't know who he is, "I definately think you deserved to win, all the work you've put into Student Council as it is and all and I'm glad you're feeling better. I hate to be rude but we really were having a conversation."

She studies him consideringly, trying to place him. "Crane. Ah. Now I remember. Nice posters." She shrugs. "I'll be going as soon as I get an answer. I do have other places to be."
