Parent Check-in

Rover, Martin Blank and Alanna Trebond sit at the registration table with information packets

Included in the packets are:
Your child's/ward's/whatever relationship you have with this person's Class Schedule
A Map of the School and Town
A Schedule of Events for Parents Weekend
The rules and regulations of Parents Weekend
A Coupon Book

At the desk is a sign saying:
Please sign in here for Parents Weekend

And depending who is looking at the sign it will magically say:
To ensure everyone's safety, please surrender any Firearms/Weaponry/Magical doodads that will cause harm to our students.

Your property will be returned to you before you leave.

Thank you!

ETA: Parents/Guardians are now required to check in on their own.
((OOC: In other words... If your parents are somewhat "normal" and unarmed they will not see the message. Unless they are packing some kind of weapon, and then they will be see it. Got it?))

"Great - well that really helps me feel more comfortable about the whole situation, Veronica. So he's your friend until what - he gets a litle thirsty? These... things, if they're real, it isn't a game."

"Oh yeah, I'm just waiting to be his tasty midnight snack," she says. "Trust me, okay? I think I have pretty good reason not to befriend someone that might try to kill me."

"Trust you? That's not in the Parent Handbook, you know." Keith sighs. "Listen, I didn't come here to be mad at you all weekend, but your safety is my number one concern - and you're still my responsibility. I'd never forgive myself if something happened to you."

Veronica smiles.

"Nothing will happen to me as long as you have anything to say about it, Dad," she says, her eyes misting a little as she remembers him saving her life once.

"But you're right," she says, a determined grin on her face. "No fighting. We only have a few days. How's Alicia?" she asks with a wink.

Keith smiles at his daughter. "Alicia's great - I know she's been missing Wallace, too."

Veronica smiles and notices Janet (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhigh/288978.html?thread=14100178#t14100178).

"Oh, hey, Dad, let's say hi to my friend Janet." and hope she doesn't mention that whole evil possession thing
