Included in the packets are:
Your child's/ward's/whatever relationship you have with this person's Class Schedule
A Map of the School and Town
A Schedule of Events for Parents Weekend
The rules and regulations of Parents Weekend
A Coupon Book

At the desk is a sign saying:
Please sign in here for Parents Weekend

And depending who is looking at the sign it will magically say:
To ensure everyone's safety, please surrender any Firearms/Weaponry/Magical doodads that will cause harm to our students.

Your property will be returned to you before you leave.

Thank you!

ETA: Parents/Guardians are now required to check in on their own.
((OOC: In other words... If your parents are somewhat "normal" and unarmed they will not see the message. Unless they are packing some kind of weapon, and then they will be see it. Got it?))

Angela is smiling sheepishly as she arrives at the check-in with a determined-looking blonde and a sulky 12-year-old in tow. "Marty? This is my mom and my sister. Mom, Danielle? This is Marty." The last bit is accompanied by a raised eyebrow that is in no way significant.

Patty looks at Marty with a clear gaze and extends a hand.

For some reason Marty is more nervous than he thought he'd be. He shakes Patty's hand with a slighty sweaty and limp grip.

"Uh... um...Helo Mrs. Chase. Danielle. Uh... Hi. Here's your... your... packet."

"Danielle. That's so, like, rude," Angela says. "It's not his fault if he sweats."

"Poor ventilation around here," Marty says fidgeting a little.

"I'm sorry," Angela mouths, with an expression that says. I warned you she was a brat. And also, I'll be dying of embarassment anytime now.

Marty gives her a weak but nervous smile and an expression of You're mom said absolutely nothing to me. Is that bad?

Marty wipes his forehead. Man... he really was sweating.

Angela shrugs. The psychic vibe is: I have no idea, she's been really weird since I met them today. And anyhow, aren't we supposed to be exes?
