Surf's Up, Wednesday, Period 3

Today, Summer had set up the Danger Shop to resemble the beaches of Hawaii. The surf was calm, with just a slight ripple of waves now and then.

"I decided to have the Danger Shop display one of my favorite places to surf - the coast of Hawaii. No matter what time of day, or year, you are sure to find good conditions to surf in. I'd like to practice what I showed you last class and just have fun. As always, I'll answer any questions you might have. I'll show you some more techniques next week."

It had only been a few days, but Luke was tired of rainy Japan and had missed the sun. So he was spending what time he could laying out on the sand, soaking up some artificial sun. Better than nothing.

Tokyo city might remind her more of home, but this was infinitely more comfortable, fake sunshine or not.

Getting to swim, and in this no less, and Kate was actually having a lot of fun.

It was nice to have some sunshine again, even if it was only simulated. Lion-o grabbed his board and hit the waves to practice what he'd learned so far.
