Wednesday: Period 1 - How to survive the Zombie Apocalypse - Class 3

When the students filed into the dangershop this week, they'd find a somewhat annoyed looking teacher trying to get something fixed on the remote.

The setting for today's class was a city street at night. It was close to midnight. And something evil was lurking in the dark.

"Hey guys," Columbus said finally giving up on the remote. "Apparently with the whole thing over the weekend has corrupted my scenario with this week's class."

Columbus let out a heavy sigh. "Which means we won't be having the standard class today. Instead of the zombies chasing you with chainsaws? They just want to dance."

He put up his hands in bewilderment. "I don't get it. So today we're going to learn abe rule number 32"

And right on cue the big block letters appeared behind Columbus:

"Sooooo... today? Your assignment is to dance. You know. Shake your... thing."

Columbus should never use that phrase again. Ever.

Yeah, this felt stupid. Jocelyn was sort of dancing over there on the edges. Mostly she was wondering why they couldn't kill anything today.

Scully was just sort of swaying-and-shuffling. So looking a lot like a zombie might dance, but she was keeping a wary eye on the zombies.

"They'd be easy to trick into a trap this way," she commented to Jocelyn, still glaring at them.

"Unless they can sense we're alive or something," she pondered, frowning at the zombies and wondering if they could do just that.

"Maybe?" Scully wondered, swaying sideways, and trying to catch one of the zombie's gazes. It slid off her, dead-eyed and oblivious. "Body heat, maybe? I doubt their own kind are giving off any."
