Try Not to Die!! [Tuesday, May 24, 3rd period]

The city they were surrounded by reminded Anakin a bit of Coruscant (if with fewer flying speeders), and while the name of the class was Try Not to Die (with two exclamation points, sigh), he didn't really want to lose a student or three in the streets of Tokyo.

Which was why he'd given them all bright yellow rain slickers with tracking beacons sewed into the collars, just in case. He'd be able to find them regardless--the Force was useful this way--but this would give him a bit of a head start.That they looked like a group of yellow Skittles was immaterial.

"Welcome back," he said from under the hood of his (not yellow, thank you very much) Jedi robe. "Today your tasks have been set up throughout futuristic Japan. As you might be able to guess from the not-exactly-thrilled-to-see-you expressions on the faces of the people around us, this is a much more dangerous scenario than our last few weeks. Make smart decisions today, don't take off your rain coats, and try not to die."

With that useful bit of information imparted, he stepped away from the clue box.

Cara very briefly considered ignoring Anakin, but she did stop, not all that intimidated by the glare.

Her erstwhile opponents however were extremely grateful to Anakin for saving them.

"I had my reasons," Cara replied, voice steady despite the white-hot lick of anger still curling through her gut. Some of them she'd even acknowledge to herself.

Anakin could pick up on the anger. "Let's try to keep the beatings on our island rather than theirs," he said evenly. "If you need to spar, pick one of our students instead. Or me."

Cara bared her teeth in something that could charitably be called a smile, if you were blind, maybe. "You think this counts as sparring?" And they'd deserved it.

"I think that this could escalate to getting arrested in a land where we don't have jurisdiction or the slightest idea how their court system works, which is just stupid," Anakin shot back.

"But you still decided to hold class in a brothel?"

Just because Anakin had browbeaten the proprietors into making sure the students only had to serve drinks had didn't mean Cara didn't recognise this kind of place.
