Steve was nothing if not prompt, but today he started the workshop a few minutes late, to allow students who'd discovered the sudden climate change only on coming outside time to go back and change into something they wouldn't overheat in.

Once everyone was assembled and signed in (and properly attired) he said, "Right, then, FALL IN," and blew the whistle before setting off on their run. PEEP!

Mercy actually didn't mind the heat that much. She ran like the wind, not feeling much like trying to stay more than nominally within human limits, and then whipped through the other exercises.
