Outdoor Activities, Monday Period 1, Week 2

Steve was nothing if not prompt, but today he started the workshop a few minutes late, to allow students who'd discovered the sudden climate change only on coming outside time to go back and change into something they wouldn't overheat in.

Once everyone was assembled and signed in (and properly attired) he said, "Right, then, FALL IN," and blew the whistle before setting off on their run. PEEP!

Sam wasn't even going to try for the bragging rights. He just wanted to make sure he finished each activity without falling on his face. The rope climb wasn't that hard though his arms were definitely feeling it when he reached the top. He really needed to get more into shape.

The tires were a little easier and while his foot caught the lip of one of them, he kept his balance and powered through the rest, finishing up easily. Sam hoped his luck in this class wouldn't run out.
