Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I
The weather was nice, the school wasn't currently under attack from forces not of this universe and they were still in Iceland. Oh yeah, it was day one of the rest of the newbies' lives.
Welcome to fandom, kiddos. Try not to trip over left over sombreros from Thursday!
[Please wait for OCD is up! This is part one of the picnic, specifically for meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. The rest of the picnic is happening here and here, in an effort to keep browsers from breaking for as long as possible.]

Re: Meet Your Big/Little Sibling (Summer 2011)
Oh, and the part where said roommate was a girl.
"Uh, thanks," Marshall said. "There isn't a wormhole in the science teacher's office, is there?"
Back at Black Hole High, everyone'd tried to ignore the weird stuff going on, but if they were going to be open about it, he'd be blunt back.
"Oh, and my roommate's a girl. Who do I talk to to fix that?"

He paused.
"Wormhole anywhere else? Only Jocelyn mentioned something about her big sibling having wings? And, like, a rain of syrup? Something's got to cause it."
Re: Meet Your Big/Little Sibling (Summer 2011)
He'd give up on sense at that point.
His insistence on wormholes and the mention of Warren cleared up part of his confusion for Scully, and she sobered. "The entire island is on a dimensional vortex. Touching all places and times at once. And sometimes drawing in syrup at the wrong altitude as rain."

And, hey, it was his best guess for where Josie was at the moment; it's where she'd gone the last time she got stuck, after all.
Re: Meet Your Big/Little Sibling (Summer 2011)
Well. From time-traveling mishaps. Mostly?
Re: Meet Your Big/Little Sibling (Summer 2011)
Beat.
"Eleven?"
Yeah, guess who was from the past?
"But it's." Marshall blinked. "Isn't it 2005?"

He looked away for a moment, processing, before finally grinning. "Lucas is never going to believe this. Safe time travel? Of course, I guess I'll have to leave to be able to call him, since he'd be six years old..."
And, hey, if he could figure out how it worked, it would be another way to search for Josie.

[and I fleee back in a few hours!]
Re: Meet Your Big/Little Sibling (Summer 2011)
"A couple friends of mine have gone through a bunch of times, but I only went once. Of course, it's done some other weird things around the school, too, so... Doesn't sound too different from here?"

"Or how it, y'know, made me start embodying the elements of the periodic table in sequence."
Re: Meet Your Big/Little Sibling (Summer 2011)
Geeeek.
