BWI Portalocity Terminal [Saturday Morning]

Emma had flown with Angelica from Logan Airport in Boston to Baltimore so she wouldn't have to make the entire trip alone, and Angelica was grateful for that. But after a hug goodbye when the time came for Emma's flight back to Massachusetts, Angelica was alone in the lounge, waiting for the bus to Fandom High. She buried her face in a book and tried not to be too nervous about changing schools, counting out the positives. She might make new friends. Empath and Roulette wouldn't be there. She might accidentally fry someone with her microwave powers.

Oooookay, that last one wasn't too positive.

Marshall nodded in shared grievance. "If my parents have anything to say, I'll do senior year there, too," he explained, "but I'm hoping I can wear them down and get back to my old school."

"Tried to convince my parents to let me start college this year," Topher explained, waving a hand. "Didn't fly. And my old school won't take me back, so..."

Marshall blinked. "Yeah, I can see them not liking that. The grade changing thing, I mean. But you got kicked out just for making fun of a teacher?"

Marshall and his friends mocked Durst all the time, and she was the principal!

"Yeah, I can see that being a little worse..." Marshall shuddered at the thought of what Victor could do. After all, he'd actually fired Durst at one point.

Admittedly, she'd not exactly been herself at the time, thanks to Black Hole High's usual shenanigans.
