Advanced Driver's Ed, Monday Period Two
If Bond was perturbed by the fact he had somehow lost the last two days, he wasn't showing it when the class entered the Danger Shop to find themselves in what looked like a control room of some description hanging out over a wide floor filled with various cars.
"Good morning, class," Bond said from his position next to a bank of controls, he pressed one and one of the cars below started moving along the floor. "Today we'll be looking at what happens when cars crash." He pressed another button and the car hit a suddenly appearing embankment, rolled, and then rather inexplicably exploded.
"These remotes will enable you to control the various cars and the environment down on the floor, amongst other things. So feel free to experiment." Bond was quite fond of the 'inexplicable explosions' control himself.

Probably better not to answer that.
"But, uh, I had a kind of weird question for you. If you don't mind."

Rose took a breath, trying to arrange her thoughts in her head one more time. She'd been wanting to talk to Bond since she realised they were going to Fandom, but she still wasn't sure how to phrase it.
Except maybe it was easier than any of that.
"How can you convince someone to forgive himself?"
Re: Talk to Bond or the TA - ADE [13]
"Time," he said finally. He would have had a much better answer if she'd asked him to do something illegal and or violent for her. "And determination."
Re: Talk to Bond or the TA - ADE [13]
"But what if - what if they won't consider it?" Rose asked, possibly missing that first bit about 'time.'
Re: Talk to Bond or the TA - ADE [13]
"It may take some effort." Violent effort.

Oh no, no projection here at all.
Re: Talk to Bond or the TA - ADE [13]
Bond was starting to wonder if he needed to have words with one Mr Belikov.
Re: Talk to Bond or the TA - ADE [13]
She made a face. "Bias shouldn't matter."
Re: Talk to Bond or the TA - ADE [13]
"It shouldn't," Bond agreed. "But people aren't always rational when it comes to guilt." Secret agent, take thy own advice.

Because letting Rose loose on some poor unsuspecting fool would end well.

Even if it left her realising that she had a thousand more questions without answers.
