The books were, for the most part, behaving themselves today.

All but one particular copy of The Extraordinary Adventures of Princess Pinky the Protective Pony. Every time he went to re-shelve it, by the time he came back to the circulation desk, there it was sitting on the counter once again.

Eventually, William just sighed and gave up, placing a stack of paperwork overtop the ridiculous pastel-pink children's book. Perhaps if he ignored it, it would go away?
