Wesley was going to go ahead and spend his library shift worrying. As it happened, not one but two people he rather cared for were in trouble this week. Katniss was in Panem, dealing with who-knows-what, and it was apparently rather pressing, given that it involved her role as a mentor somehow. And then there was Cordelia, who had apparently woken up pregnant with a demon baby. So... there was that. And of course, he couldn't help with either situation.

Life really did suck sometimes, huh, Wes?
