Adventures, Capers and Escapes - Danger Shop, Thursday, Period 3

The Doctor was waiting outside the Danger Shop for everyone today. As they arrived, he handed them each a red football jersey suited for their size. "Put those on. Football, or soccer, is a sport or a religion on Earth depending on who you're talking to, where on the planet you are and which era you're visiting. You're all going to learn a blatant lesson today about how no matter where you go and what sort of trouble you get yourselves into, there are going to be people who will judge you by how you look rather than what you have to say. The lesson is about why it's wrong, not how to do the same, in case anyone hasn't caught on. Once you have your shirt on, in you go. Mind the locals."

Inside the Danger Shop was a pub. A British pub, actually. It was busy, the beer was flowing, the patrons were largely inebriated and there was a football match on the big screen TVs around the place between the blue-shirted local team and the red-shirted team that the students were now apparently supporters of due to their attire.

Their arrival drew the attention of the blue-shirted supporters, who it seemed didn't take very kindly to the opposition ruining their party.

Cara was there, complete with a still fading black eye before she got into the fight.

Times like this, Cara missed having Zedd around to speed up her healing. "Nothing important."

"I'm not," Cara replied. "I've had worse."
wrongkindofsith: (Surrounded by idiots)

"I used my face to punch someone's fist this weekend. Didn't work out so well."
wrongkindofsith: (Give me strength not to kill them all)

Because duelling stubborns always ended well. "My guest wanted to make a point and have some fun in the process."

"No. Never Richard." At least not when he was operating under his own free will.

Cara was fine, it hadn't even been a particularly thorough beating. "Wait for it to heal. It shouldn't take that long."
wrongkindofsith: (Using the small words)

"Then I have no idea what you are talking about."
wrongkindofsith: (And if you happen to glance my way)

There was just the slightest of pauses before Cara replied. "Of course I am."

Repression and beating people up were perfectly healthy ways to cope! Really! "Right, I'll do that"

Killjoy. It wasn't her fault they couldn't appreciate a good barfight. "Fine."

Bobby was a terrible bet unless the help needed was of the 'I'm tiny and innocent' sort.

He was currently trying to explain to a girl nearly twice his size why he had accidentally put on red.
