Adventures, Capers and Escapes - Danger Shop, Thursday, Period 3

The Doctor was waiting outside the Danger Shop for everyone today. As they arrived, he handed them each a red football jersey suited for their size. "Put those on. Football, or soccer, is a sport or a religion on Earth depending on who you're talking to, where on the planet you are and which era you're visiting. You're all going to learn a blatant lesson today about how no matter where you go and what sort of trouble you get yourselves into, there are going to be people who will judge you by how you look rather than what you have to say. The lesson is about why it's wrong, not how to do the same, in case anyone hasn't caught on. Once you have your shirt on, in you go. Mind the locals."

Inside the Danger Shop was a pub. A British pub, actually. It was busy, the beer was flowing, the patrons were largely inebriated and there was a football match on the big screen TVs around the place between the blue-shirted local team and the red-shirted team that the students were now apparently supporters of due to their attire.

Their arrival drew the attention of the blue-shirted supporters, who it seemed didn't take very kindly to the opposition ruining their party.

Cara poked warily at the jersey, it was very...baggy.

Gabrielle frowned at the jersey; it was, well.

Far more fabric than she was used to wearing, unless she was dressed up for one of their bizarre --

Capers. Oh. Right. Well, in that case, it wasn't that strange, even if the fabric felt completely weird once she'd pulled it on over her bilious green sports bra top.
