Gabrielle had only arrived back in Fandom yesterday morning, and had kept to herself pretty much since then. She could, she thought as she went about her morning library tasks, spin the events of her break week as spending time at a spa (because there were random hot tubs in her ancient Greece, so random spas wouldn't be weird either, obviously), and it wouldn't be that far off from the truth. That was, after all, a general use of the Amazons' sweat hut -- you know, when it wasn't being hogged by someone taking advantage of her status as queen to disproportionately emo in a palm-branch-flagellation way.

. . . which she wouldn't mention. Call it a traditional botanical cleansing treatment, though, she might do that; it was creative embellishment, and there was always room for improvement on that technique. (It wasn't lying! Not exactly.)

That had been last week, though. This week there were classes and books to tend to, and in their own way they were equally therapeutic.

Even if the Ina Garten cookbook that kept making its way back to the desk was weirding her out.

He was in! And trying to figure out why the reference books on his office shelves kept turning into ethnic cookbooks. Apparently, the powers really wanted him to make some curry.
