Advanced Driver's Ed, Monday Period Two

Today the Danger Shop was set up to resemble a beach, much like the ones they'd so recently left behind. Well, except for the dune buggy, Bond was leaning on. Looks like someone had spent his holiday planning the lesson.

"Welcome back," Bond greeted them. "I trust your break was pleasant. Today we're going to easing back into things by taking this around some courses. If you wish you may pair up so that one navigates while the other drives, and then vice versa."

That sounded simple enough.

Nothing can go wrong with dune buggies, right?

Well, except for completely unintuitive controls and a tendency to catch on fire the second you flipped. Which was often.

Good thing about those safeties, eh?

Bod climbed into one of the dune buggies and tried to get himself acclimated to the controls. Little did he know that any amount of learning would be futile considering dune buggies were prickly vehicles.

Thank goodness for the safeties. Hank spent more of the class with his dune buggy on fire than not.
