What NOT To Do In A Fight / Period III / Week 7 (Atreides/Deadpool)
"Moving on from the blah blah blah trauma blah blah had kids," Deadpool said, bouncing on his heels excitedly. "Today we finally get to my specialty: banter."
Oh, he was like a girl at prom.
"Now don't let any deal with Mephisto makin', nerdy little arachnids tell you otherwise. And yeah, I went there. Now, for people who aren't like me, this may prove difficult as you'll need to breathe and everything. So use it sparingly. Don't give speeches. It's an artform that is part distraction, part 'Yo mama' contest."
"I will confess that I do not understand the urge to banter during combat," Ghanima stated. "In my opinion, silence will do more to unnerve your opponent than any blithe quips."
She was also the type to stab someone in the back or with poison them with a blow-dart. Details.
"But silence is boring and doesn't fill a panel! So, we want you all to pair off and practice that witty banter," Deadpool said.
"If you aren't comfortable trying to hit someone, try knocking something off their head or out of their hand while moving and talking," Ghanima suggested. "Many of you seem to prefer non-lethal blows, and the coordination required to pull your hits accordingly is difficult in a best-case situation. When dividing your focus between combat and unnecessary verbosity? It can become downright impossible."
"We've got some apples and bananas for fake weaponry, if you'd like. Feel free to run, dodge, whatever you need to do while trying to banter and fight at the same time."

Re: Listen to the Lecture
Which was good, because Momoko was still a bit out-of-sorts after the weekend.
Fight!
Lame banter will be mocked by the teachers. You are warned.
Re: Fight!
Of course, she was kind of just standing there as she waited...

Re: Fight!
"Hey Karla? Is that just a banana in your hand or do you really want to spar with me?"
Re: Fight!
If anyone asked, she'd say the insult was very subtle.

"It's also a lot harder when I'm not laughing maniacally wearing a catsuit," Karla laughed. She grabbed a few apples and flung them at her. "Let's see how witty you are while dodging these!"
Considering Karla's aim when she wasn't using Craft? Momoko would probably be okay.
Re: Fight!
She tossed a banana at Karla. Years of throwing a yo-yo had given her excellent aim, unfortunately, so hopefully Karla could jump?
