Advanced Driver's Ed, Monday Period Two

Today, the class found themselves on a pier by a large lake. Moored at the end of the pier were what looked like fibreglass rafts with bike seats attached to them.

"This class, you'll be using pedalboats, also known as waterbikes. They're fairly easy to pick up steering wise, even if you'll be putting in some effort to propel them." Bond indicated a series of buoys bobbing out in the water. "Once you've gotten a feel for them, there's a course for you to steer through."

This was something Bod figured he could learn easily. After so many weeks of driving and trying to avoid obstacles, it was nice to learn something new.

Bod climbed carefully into the pedalboat and practiced maneuvering it around. It was fairly easy once he'd learned the controls and he was confident enough to head for the buoys.
