Science Club Meeting, After Classes, Monday 1/24

The science club would be meeting in one of the labs this semester. Please try not to blow anything up. Unless that was the point of the experiment.

"Good afternoon," said Spock. "This club is for the exploration of scientific interests. Professor Rikku has kindly agreed to be our faculty adviser for the semester, and we should all thank her." Even if she was kind of crazy, as far as Spock could tell. "I am Spock. I have not had experience running something of this nature, but I thought today it would be appropriate to discuss our background and interest in the sciences, and what we hope to accomplish over the course of the semester. I trust that will be agreeable." If it wasn't, he didn't have any other ideas.

"My name is Prince Alexander of Daventry," Alexander offered when it came to be his time to introduce himself, though he did so quite sheepishly. "I'm afraid I can't make many suggestions on what to do for the club; I myself am quite new to the sciences, but I've found them to be quite interesting. We are not as scientifically advanced in my own country, so it seems quite valuable to bring back with me when I am finished here."

And he figured that was a much better explanation than pointing out how science was an awful lot like magic in his world, and, because of that, his mother didn't let him take any science classes...
