Advanced Negotiations
Today we’re going to discuss this topic:
Slim odds: What do you do when there is a lot of them and very few of you.
I think we should split you up into small groups for discussion today. We could even turn this into a debate it you feel up to it.

I told you that wasn't what Daniel said, but did you listen? Noooo...They never would have blown it up like that if you'd kept your mouth shut.

Jack opens the note and scrawls something on it before sending it sailing back.
If the two of you would learn how to use normal-people words and not all those big ones maybe I would've understood one of you.
I might even've listened maybe.

She reads the note and snickers in disbelief. I'll believe that when I see it.

We weren't even off-world for that one, Jack--it shouldn't count. Eight.no subject

Although maybe the SGC should think about recruiting that waiter...no subject
You didn't recognize Specialist Li-Ken? From Fourteen?no subject
Y'know, I thought he looked familiar...no subject
Yeah, even Daniel likes him. Hammond told him not to worry about the death thing, and explained Danny to him.no subject
Well, Daniel liked Jonas too, eventually. And I'm very sorry I missed that conversation. Poor General Hammond--his last command, and he got stuck with all of us.no subject
I'm sure Daniel would like a Goa'uld if you gave him enough time alone with one. Hammond must've been H.H. Holmes in his past life, it's the only thing that explains all this.no subject
And I think the Goa'uld may be where he draws the line...way back when, right after Sha're got taken, he and I saw a tank full of them. I was going to leave it alone, but Daniel shot up the entire tank--glass, baby Goa'uld, and fluid everywhere. He had no mercy, Jack. None.no subject
Is it wrong that that makes me feel all happy inside?no subject
I don't know. Maybe? I'd tell you to ask the Ethics teacher...but she'd probably make you pretend to be a Goa'uld first so you'd understand their point of view.no subject
Yeah, screw that. Not gonna happen.no subject
